Canterbury Campus

We want you to succeed, to be happy, to feel comfortable and to express yourself. You'll be studying in a nurturing and sympathetic environment where diversity, equality and inclusivity are part of everything we do.

New creative arts building

Our new creative arts building is supporting and inspiring the next generation of artistic professionals with the latest digital facilities to support creativity and future careers.

This exciting creative hub is named after Daphne Oram, co-founder of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop and a tutor here during the 1980s. It was opened by former Director of the Tate and now Chair of Arts Council England, Sir Nicholas Serota, in 2019.

Explore the 360s on this page to get an idea of what these new facilities are like. Better still why not visit us at an Open Day and see for yourself?

Our New Building

Our city campus is transforming with stunning new buildings and facilities.

We opened our new £65m building in September 2020. Home to our dynamic science, technology, health, engineering and medicine courses, the building is part of our exciting £150m city campus investment.

Hi-tech Sports Lab

Part of our sports and exercise science specialism, our Sports Lab has exercise machines and free weights for analysis and physical performance tests. The lab supports our students' practical learning as well as pioneering research programmes.

Specialist health facilities - Canterbury

Our healthcare students have access to our specialist, industry-relevant, simulation facilities at Canterbury and Medway campuses. These simulation facilities allow them to practise hands-on skills in a fully-equipped, realistic hospital environment. In Canterbury, these facilities are just a few minutes' walk from our Canterbury Campus.
